| Touched and inspired by a Friend's post. |
I've been hopping on blogs and came to my friend's blog which touched my heart. The story of her will of fire is awesome and I was deeply inspired by it to work hard too. Ever since I started school in PolyTechnic, I've been seriously slacking to the extend that the importance of studying has slipped to the not so top priority. Also, people might call you mugger but who cares as long as you are happy yourself and you are happy with the grades you achieved by hard work. Therefore I strive to work extra extra hard for every Module. Yes, I, too have relatives with eyes grown on the top of their head. secretly demeaning me. this post lies no malice nor the least sarcasm to anyone. When O levels that day, that person had expected me to scored like 20+ points( high twenty) and she's super proud of her son who scored twenty odd points for L1R4 and she hopes that I lose to her son, period. Thank god I did better than she had expected and shut her mouth of like a period of time. the fact that she keeps quiet this time. The other time was my elder brother. My brother scored worse than her son and she was like showing off. intentionally saying " this course is good.. can choose a lot of different courses" in front of my parents loudly as if they don't even exist." This was what made me really angry. I was determined to work hard so as not to let her look down on my parents. And my parents weren't the only one being looked down by her. At that time, her son scores were the best among all my other cousins. I was so exasperated by her proud face. anyway happy lunar chinese new year to everyone. Cheers and may you all have a good year ahead.
P.S: I need more red packets
Signed
Samuel
